Friday Facts

This week was short but exhausting. I rarely ever feel stressed by my work, but it’s been an intense week. Conflicting data and trying to make sense of it all = head explosion.
I usually love working with Excel (I am a nerd), but this week, my brain hurt.

Our 9th anniversary was on Wednesday, but I was stuck in the office for 11,5 hours most of the day, so there wasn’t much celebrating going on. However, we did go out to dinner to a sushi bar not far from where we live and it was a wonderful night and delicious food!

My new book for the Postal Bookclub came in the mail this week. I’ll be reading Beauty and Sadness by Yasunari Kawabata in the coming weeks. I am intrigued. It’s not a book I would have necessarily picked out myself (I think), but that’s the fun of being part of a book club, right? So far, I have not been disappointed by any of the books I received.

By the end of this month, I will have run 70+ miles.  That’s almost twice as much as the previous month. I started running regularly again three months ago and I am amazed how much improvement I’ve seen already.

Today is for dentist visits, running, laundry, baseball and take-out Mexican food. In that order.

TGIF, friends!

  1. Have a great weekend.
Mexican Take-out sounds good. Nowhere to be found in Germany though.

  8. Nice work on the mileage! That is about how many miles I ran this month! You are running enough miles to train for a half marathon if that is ever something you are interested in!
